The Evolution rod with Notches is made by Sigal Sub using the best quality Swedish Sandvik steel, heat-treated to increase its mechanical characteristics. It is a sturdy, rigid and very precise rod, perfect for closed and open-headed arbalete rifles. Le two new-generation hookup notches, are not simply milled as is usually done, but are machined using a special technique that allows for the creation of a rounded profile seat, free of sharp edges and corners. Evolution's notches thus allow the use of dyneema ogive, without the risk of them being damaged or breaking quickly. The tang is hand-finished to prevent sharp points or edges. The fins, made of raw AISI 316L steel, provide great strength, and are of the "recessed" type. That is, they partially disappear in the profile of the rod. The single flap is modified by hand to prevent it from closing after passing the fish; it is placed as per standard in the upper position but can also be requested in the lower position.
