TARAS Carbon Monofin by CETMA COMPOSITES is aimed at sports competitions and training in the outdoor, indoor and fin swimming sectors. TARAS Carbon Monofin is a jewel of technology made with high modulus and high resistance carbon and is made with technologically advanced processes derived from the aeronautical world. In particular, it was created through a FEM design to distribute the rigidity in an accurate manner both in the longitudinal and transversal directions. Thanks to the engineered distribution of stiffness, in fact, the lateral load loss due to the transverse arching of the blade has been drastically reduced, this allows to maximize the efficiency, i.e. to produce a high thrust with a minimum effort. The engineered distribution of the blade's stiffness makes it stable even under powerful strides, drastically reducing muscle fatigue. The shoe, made from a mold, in top quality rubber is ergonomic and comfortable even when worn “intentionally tight” to minimize power loss and maximize thrust. All components: shoes, blade, lateral and vertical stabilizers are assembled by highly specialized personnel. Features: 1. The monofin is designed with a high foot-blade inclination; 2. The insole, made of rubber and differential stiffness rubber foam, has an arched and ergonomic shape to make the fit comfortable and high-performance; 3. The monofin has a buoyancy of approximately 200 grams (2 N); 4. 100% IM7 and High Modulus carbon fiber blade. 5. The material is PRE-PREG 100 % Carbon obtained with hot melt impregnation systems with tetra-functional resin. 6. 3D-Tech: Proprietary technology, exclusive know-how of CETMA COMPOSITES, at high pressure, high temperature and under vacuum, which implies a component with 0% of voids, free from defects, and with a constant fibre/resin ratio along the entire blade. 7. FEM Design: The TARAS design is optimized through careful finite element design (FEM). The software used ensures an optimal distribution of stiffness in order to reproduce a blade deformation that guarantees maximum hydrodynamic efficiency. 8.
