20 5×7 Note Cards with Envelopes   Passion Tree by Jack E. Dawson - 9x12 Card Inside 2 Passion Tree by Jack E. Dawson - 9x12 Card Back Passion Tree by Jack E. Dawson For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him, might not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16 The PASSION TREE follows the story of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. Each ornament illustrates an event in history. The red garland represents the crimson thread of Jesus Christ woven through the entire Bible. Jesus IS from eternity (before creation) to eternity (after the end of all things), and this garland weaves through all history, telling His Story. The first twelve ornaments, starting at the lower left, show events in the Old Testament and the last twelve illustrate events in the New Testament, with a star representing the glory of God crowning the tree. The red ornaments at the center form a cross, the three largest representing the Trinity: God the Father who gave His gift, God the Son who came to earth and God the Spirit who lives within believers today. There are 33 candles, one for each of the years that Christ spent on earth in the form of a man. Jesus is the Light. (John 1:6-13, 12:44-46) You can see a suggestion of Him in each flame. Under the tree you can see some people carrying the light to others who are walking in darkness. Those of us who have the Light must be sharing it with others all over the world. The snow-covered landscape suggests a map of the entire globe. We are the light and we must let our light shine so that many may come to saving faith in God through Christ Jesus. (Matthew 5:14-16)  Sharing the Gift of Christmas by Jack E. Dawson The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23 Light spilling from the windows of the Bittersweet Log Church speaks the presence of God, inviting us to come and rejoice with others celebrating the true meaning of Christmas. At the door the last roses of summer still cling to barren bushes, sweetly singing of the Rose of Sharon, the one true gift of God’s love. The fullness of the gift of Christmas is displayed on the package the visitor brings to the celebration. Because he possesses the gift, he carries God’s light to all he meets along the path, where it casts a reflection of the cross in the snow. Five other crosses bear witness to the true meaning of the season: Three are reflections from the lighted windows of the Log Church; a fourth on its steeple beckons us to come and worship Him; and overlooking it all, one lone tree casts its shadowed reminder of His sacrifice on the tree for us. This Christmas, share the true gift of God’s love. Wise Men Still Seek Him by Jack E. Dawson But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33 Wise men Still Seek Him is a challenge for us to place preeminence on Jesus Christ, just as Santa acknowledges the true meaning of Christmas by studying the Scriptures.  In the window above the Nativity scene you can see the star, symbolic of the star that supernaturally guided the wise men to baby Jesus.   Notice that the clock reads five minutes until midnight.  He is coming again and it could be soon.  Wise men will still seek Him! Baby Jesus by Jack E. Dawson And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.  Matthew 1:21 God always had a plan for His people. The day the prophets had been telling about had finally come. The star in the east pointed the way. God’s Son had come to earth as a tiny baby born to a young virgin named Mary. He had come into the world so the world could be saved. Never before had there been such a miracle! God became one of us, completely human in every way but still completely God. Jesus. Even His name was a wonderful miracle, given to Mary by God. Just the mention of His name would cast out demons, heal the sick and raise the dead. Only Jesus can take away our sin. This painting depicts three aspects of the work of Christ: His birth is symbolized by the manger encircled by a heart. His death is foretold by the lamb that signifies His sacrifice as The Lamb of God and by the three crosses that speak of Calvary. And His resurrection is proclaimed in the empty tomb on the side of the hill, reminding us He is alive forever and waits to welcome all who will come to Him. Someday everyone who ever lived will bow down to Him as Lord. Is Jesus Christ your Lord?
