Alymeri Kangaroo permanent Anklets for hawk or falcon or small owls. Anklets come in pairs with matching grommets. Note we now offer these anklets in three colors, tan, black and brown. Black and brown is only for Red tail hawks and Harris hawks at this time. All other anklets will be made up in Tan. CUSTOMERS: Please list the species and sex of the raptor or bird you would like to get anklets made up for in the text box listed above. Please also choose the color if for Red tail or Harris hawks. All of our hawk, falcon or small owl anklets are made from Kangaroo hide except for some eagle and owl anklets we make those using cowhide or Buffalo hide. We use light weight hides for all anklets using 3/16 grommets, medium weight hide for all anklets using ¼ inch grommets, heavy weight hides for all anklets using 5/16th grommets and extra heavy weight hide for all anklets using 3/8 grommets. All anklets come with the hole punched in them and both sides of the leather will have small cuts in them to make for a better fitting anklet around your birds legs. Please state the sex and species of the bird you are ordering for in the information box listed below. Please note: You will need to have a grommet setter,or a pair of grommet pliers or screw type grommet pliers to set the grommets for using the alymeri anklets. If you do not have these yet you can find these in our grommets and grommet setter section. Listed below are the size grommets we will include with each pair of anklets and an idea of the size of the bird it should be used on or close to it. If you prefer a different size grommet with your anklets please list the size you prefer in the information box listed below. 3/16th grommets for Sharp-Shin hawk, Merlin, Kestrel size birds. ¼ inch grommets for Female Peregrine/ Gyr/ falcons/ Tercel falcons, male Goshawk, Male Harris hawk, Coopers hawk size birds. 5/16th grommets for Female/ Male Red tail, Female Harris, female Goshawk size birds. 3/8th grommets for very large female Red tail hawk, Ferruginous hawk, Great Horned owl, Turkey Vulture size birds. 7/16th grommets for Golden eagles, Bald eagles, Sea eagle size birds.
