This is a lovely 1950’s West German locket made from Rolled Gold (Gold-Filled) by the reputable jewellers Andreas Daub. It is marked on the bail with their makers mark ‘A*D’ as well as ‘Rolled Gold’ and ‘Foreign’. The ‘Foreign’ mark was used for items that were exported from Germany to either the UK or USA markets. The locket measures 2.3cm wide and 3.6cm tall and comes as default supplied with a 17″ gold-plated sterling silver (vermeil) chain, but we can also offer a longer chain.
