This is a fantastic example of a decorative enamelled coin, a 1948 George VI half penny. To the fore the galleon scene is decorated in full colour, with gold leaf for a few selected highlights. To the rear the coin is simply black with gold leaf for all raised areas. The coin has been mounted in gold-plated sterling silver and is fully hallmarked for London in 1983, alongside a makers mark for RJL. The pendant measures 2.8cm in diameter and comes as default supplied with a 17″ gold-plated sterling silver (vermeil) chain, but we can also offer a longer chain.
