The rubber foam offers a floating line with some level of stretch, while the UHMWPE provides a light weight, highly cut/abrasion resistant protective layer while delivering an extreme break strength in excess of 500kg, so that fish WON’T run away with your gun/spear. The UHMWPE fibre is coloured during the extrusion process as opposed to being coated with a colour after manufacturing, so the colour wont flake and disappear.
