This set works well as a quick release system in your hawk house, giant hood or in the field with your birds. We do no recommend using the spring snaps when weathering your bird outdoors unless you are with your birds at all times. Like any type of equipment it is a good idea to check your leash setup everyday before handling your birds to make sure that everything is in good working condition.
