Custom made Eagle blocks with stainless steel spike Our new custom eagle blocks are handmade at Mike’s Falconry supplies. We now offer one size for male or female Golden eagles. We make these blocks out of heavy duty almost indestructible UHMW black plastic that will last a life time. The block weighs about 12 pounds and it’s over all height is17 inches tall from the ground to the top of the block. The block top diameter is 11 inches by 3 inches thick and is counter sunk to hold long leaf astro turf. The stainless steel spike is made 5/8″ thick to support this large block size. These blocks are completely water proof and have small drain holes drilled to drain water out the bottom. Our new eagle blocks have been tested with many eagles including Joe Atkinson’s eagles. Joe said his birds jumped right on the blocks without any hesitation and that he liked the design and excellent quality of the blocks.
