Description Varenkor Diamond Sintered Burr:  Tapered Point, 1.0mm Diameter, 3/32″ (2.35mm) Shaft Grit sizes available:  80/100 grit, 120/140 grit, 200/270 grit, 325/400 grit, 600/800 grit Sintered Diamond Burrs:  These burrs have diamond imbedded in matrix that extends all the way down to the shaft. Consequently they last a very long time.  They are manufactured to precision standards in Europe so they run amazingly smooth.  Many of the top jade carvers in the world are using these sintered burrs. Color Bands For Sintered Burrs: Red: 80/100 grit Grey: 120/140 grit Blue: 200/270 grit Black: 325/400 grit Dark Green: 600/800 grit Cautions:  Maximum Speed Rating:  30000rpm.  When using burrs insert them all the way into the chuck or collet.  Do not start the burr at a speed higher than 1000rpm.   After attaining the starting speed increase to the desired speed but not faster than the rated speed of the burr.  Starting burrs at higher speeds, especially with high torque micrometers, can cause the burr to bend at right angles which is dangerous.  Always wear safety goggles.  Always wear an appropriate mask so you do not breath in particulates and harmful vapors.  Always wear hand and body protection.  Failure to adhere to these cautions may result in serious injury or death.
